Victrix, the family holding of Virginie Saverys, is investing 40 million euros through the property developer Revive. 10 million of which will go immediately to the new investment fund "Revive Impact Fund". Property developer Revive aims to raise up to 300 million euros from institutional investors through a private placement, and with the launch of this fund, it is the fifth time it has been at the forefront of setting up a residential property investment fund. It is to be the largest round of capital financing to date for the Belgian market leader in property reconversion.

ION Residential Platform (IRP) acquired 100% of the shares of the company owning the new energy-efficient ‘Canal Brussels Terrace’ development. The building consists of 34 flats, 35 parking spaces, and a commercial ground floor in the Brussels Canal District. With this first transaction, the real estate investor is living up to its philosophy of acquiring sustainable and affordable rental properties in Belgium’s largest cities. “We are convinced that Belgium is evolving towards a larger rental market,” says Sam Bordon, Head of Investment at ION. “IRP wants to enable tenants to keep their overall costs under control by offering them energy-efficient housing, thereby improving affordability.”

Real estate developer MG Real Estate has just started the construction of a new section at Malmö Industrial Park in the city’s northern harbor. The new project was named “MG Park Malmö” and stretches over 6.6 hectares, on which the real estate company plans to build warehouses, totaling 42,000 square meters. In the meantime, the first company to settle in the new buildings has already announced its arrival. Smeg, the famous Italian home appliance manufacturer most known for their iconic refrigerators, will move into the first building by the end of this year.
